Far from the associations subsidized "to the hilt" by demagogic politicians and other pseudo intermittents, the music hall was a great popular spectacle that often served as a school for future international stars, sometimes naive, often sumptuous, funny and imaginative, the passion of its artisans was a treat for an international audience. It still exists but unfortunately is struggling to survive!! Listening again to the broadcasts of J.C. Averty (a true free thinker!) on France Inter at the time is a treat. It was obvious that the greatest graphic designers illustrated the programs and posters, and the "goddesses" who skated the boards will always make us dream. Here is a small sample of our stock...
