This pin-up concept is totally U.S. The thumbtacks, or pins (pins) that attached them to the wall are at the origin of the name "Pin-up" (see the history in the book co-written with B. Joubert, which we offer for sale on the site). From the size of a thumbnail to that of a poster, the same drawing could have multiple formats, they did not include advertising at first, we then find them declined in the form of blotters, calendars etc... Almost impossible to find a bad designer!! Is perfection of this world? Let us remain modest, epicureans and enjoy beautiful things, no more complicated than happiness!
