For the uninitiated who are discovering our site, we will define the Curiosa as an old work preferably, printed in a few copies on beautiful paper, illustrated by classy artists and written by renowned writers. Its particularity is that it is more than erotic since to be entitled to this appellation it must describe the sexual act in its most realistic details. It is no longer a "book of sex" but a "classic" work. which goes to the auction room: a beautiful hypocrisy for boxes that are not lacking in quality, the same difference as between a Prix Fémina and a thriller, even if the latter is sometimes reissued for decades. We have seen breathtakingly beautiful Curiosa books, but sorry we are still in the "pop" category, let's not forget that these expensive books were often reserved for a bourgeoisie with easy censorship. As for so-called "old" books, it is urgent to save them, sex still having a taste of hell for many!!
