The U.S.A. arrived later than the Color Climax. In a larger format (21 x 30 cm), the magazines were luxurious, on glossy paper, all in color (and what colors!!) sometimes even with a square spine. Gourmet, Parliament and many other titles are collected worldwide. Their price on the shelves being quite high at the time and their size more difficult to hide, they were less distributed and less kept. Some titles become unobtainable, we find there all these real porn stars who had started with super 8, and not by playing the part of the showgirls on TV. like now: John Holmes, Tom Byron, Ron Jeremy, Vanessa de los Rios and a large number of female stars are there, real stars who went from super 8 to 35mm cinemas (the rare X-rated feature films often with real scripts!) for many years and who burst into these luxury magazines. X and quality are becoming harder and harder to combine... enjoy it!!
